Why does search volume data for a keyword in Keyword Tool Pro and Google Keyword Planner not match?

Keyword Tool Pro pulls Google search volume directly from Google. Hence, the search volume numbers in Keyword Tool Pro and Google Keyword Planner should be the same if the settings of the two tools are identical.
Please make sure that the settings between the two tools are exactly the same if you require the data to be 100% identical.
Ensure that Location & Language from the search bar and Search Network in the "Search Volume Settings" of Keyword Tool Pro matches the settings keyed in Google Keyword Planner as shown in the screenshots below:
